PSALM 110

The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

1aThe Lord says to my Lord:

“bSit at My right hand

Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

2The Lord will stretch forth Your strong ascepter from Zion, saying,

“bRule in the midst of Your enemies.”

3Your apeople 1will volunteer freely in the day of Your 2power;

bIn 3holy array, from the womb of the dawn,

4Your youth are to You as the cdew.

4aThe Lord has sworn and will bnot 1change His mind,

“You are a cpriest forever

According to the order of Melchizedek.”

5The Lord is aat Your right hand;

He 1will bshatter kings in the cday of His wrath.

6He will ajudge among the nations,

He 1will fill them with bcorpses,

He 2will cshatter the 3chief men over a broad country.

7He will adrink from the brook by the wayside;

Therefore He will blift up His head.

And bHis righteousness endures forever.

In giving them the heritage of the nations.

7The works of His hands are 1atruth and justice;

All His precepts bare 2sure.

8They are aupheld forever and ever;

They are performed in 1btruth and uprightness.

A bgood understanding have all those who 2do His commandments;

His cpraise endures forever.

How ablessed is the man who 3fears the Lord,

Who greatly bdelights in His commandments.

2His 1adescendants will be mighty 2on earth;

The generation of the bupright will be blessed.

3aWealth and riches are in his house,

And his righteousness endures forever.

4Light arises in the darkness afor the upright;
