1*The aRevelation of Jesus Christ, bwhich God gave unto him, cto shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and dhe sent and signified it cby his angel unto ehis servant fJohn: 2Who bare record of gthe word of God, and of ghthe testimony of Jesus Christ, and of iall things that he saw. 3jkBlessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and kkeep those things which are written therein: lfor cthe time is at hand.

4fJohn to mthe seven churches which are in Asia: nGrace be unto you, and npeace, from him opwhich is, oand qwhich was, oand which is to come; and from rthe seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5And from Jesus Christ, who is sthe faithful twitness, and uthe first begotten of the dead, and vthe prince of the kings of the earth. Unto whim that loved us, and xwashed us from our sins in his own blood, 6And yhath made us kings and priests unto zGod and his Father; ato him be glory and bdominion for ever and ever. Amen.

7Behold, che cometh dewith clouds; and devery eye shall see him, and fthey also which pierced him: and dall kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8gI am Alpha and Omega, ghthe beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, iwhich is, and which was, and which is to come, jthe Almighty.

9I kJohn, who also am your brother, and lcompanion in tribulation, and min the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, nwas in the isle that is called Patmos, for othe word of God, and for othe testimony of Jesus Christ. 10pI was in the Spirit on qthe Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, ras of a trumpet, 11Saying, gI am Alpha and Omega, sthe first and the last: and, What thou seest, sswrite in a book, and send it unto tthe seven churches which are in Asia; unto uEphesus, and unto vSmyrna, and unto wPergamos, and unto xThyatira, and unto ySardis, and unto zPhiladelphia, and unto aLaodicea. 12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw bseven golden candlesticks; 13And cin the midst of bthe seven candlesticks done like unto the Son of man, eclothed with fa garment down to the foot, and eggirt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14His head and hhis hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and ihis eyes were as a flame of fire; 15kAnd his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and lhis voice as the sound of many waters. 16And he had min his right hand seven stars: and nout of his mouth went oa sharp ptwoedged sword: and qhis countenance was as the sun shineth rin his strength. 17And swhen I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And the laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, uFear not; vI am the first and the last: 18wI am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, xI am alive for evermore, Amen; and yhave zthe keys of ahell and of death. 19bWrite cthe things which thou hast seen, dand the things which are, eand the things which shall be hereafter; 20The mystery fof the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and gthe seven golden candlesticks. The seven hstars are ithe angels of jthe seven churches: and gthe seven candlesticks which thou sawest kare ithe seven churches.

2Unto athe angel of the church of bEphesus write; These things saith che that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh din the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2eI know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not fbear them which are evil: and gthou hast tried them hwhich say they are iapostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3And hast fjborne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and khast not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left lthy first love. 5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else mI will come unto thee quickly, and will remove nthy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of othe Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7pHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; qTo him that overcometh will I give to eat of rthe tree of life, which is in the midst of sthe paradise of God.

8And unto athe angel of the church in tSmyrna write; These things saith uthe first and the last, vwhich was dead, and is alive; 9eI know thy works, and tribulation, and wpoverty, (but thou art wrich) and I know the blasphemy of xythem which say they are Jews, and are not, but are ythe synagogue of zSatan. 10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and aye shall have btribulation cten days: dbe thou efaithful unto death, and I will give thee fa crown of life. 11gHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; gHe that overcometh hshall not be hurt of ithe second death.

12And to jthe angel of the church in kPergamos write; These things saith lhe which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13mI know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where nSatan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not odenied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my efaithful pmartyr, who was slain among you, where nSatan dwelleth. 14ppBut I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of qBalaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, rto eat things sacrificed unto idols, and sto commit fornication. 15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of tthe Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and uwill fight against them with lthe sword of my mouth. 17gHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; gTo him that overcometh will I give to eat of vthe hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone wa new name written, xwhich no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

18And unto jthe angel of the church in yThyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, zwho hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and ahis feet are like fine brass; 19mI know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20bNotwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman cJezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to decommit fornication, and dto eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And fI gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22Behold, I will gcast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he hwhich searcheth ithe reins and ihhearts: and kI will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in lThyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of mSatan, as they speak; I will nput upon you none other burden. 25But othat which ye have already hold fast till ooI come. 26pAnd he that overcometh, and keepeth my works qunto the end, to rhim will I give power over the nations: 27And she shall trule them with a rod of iron; sas the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: ueven as I received of my Father. 28And I will give him wthe morning star. 29xHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

3And unto athe angel of the church in bSardis write; These things saith he that hath cthe seven Spirits of God, and dthe seven stars; I eknow thy works, that thou hast a name fthat thou livest, and fgart dead. 2Be hwatchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy iworks perfect before God. 3kRemember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and lrepent. If therefore thou shalt not hwatch, I will mcome on thee nas a thief, and nthou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4Thou hast a few onames even in bSardis which have not pdefiled their garments; and they shall walk with me qin white: for they are rworthy. 5sHe that overcometh, the same tshall be clothed qin white raiment; and I will not ublot out his name out of vthe book of life, but wI will confess his name before my Father, and xbefore his angels. 6yHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

7And to athe angel of the church in zPhiladelphia write; These things saith ahe that is bholy, ahe that is ctrue, he that hath dthe key of David, ehe that openeth, and no man shutteth; and fshutteth, and no man openeth; 8gI know thy works: behold, I have set before thee han open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not idenied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of kthe synagogue of Satan, kwhich say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, lI will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that mI have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, nI also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon oall the world, to try pthem that dwell upon the earth. 11qBehold, I come quickly: rshold that fast which thou hast, that no man take tthy crown. 12uHim that overcometh will I make va pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him wthe name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is xnew Jerusalem, ywhich cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him zmy new name. 13aHe that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

14And unto bthe angel of the church ||of the cLaodiceans write; These things saith the dAmen, ethe faithful and ftrue witness, gthe beginning of the creation of God; 15hI know thy works, that thou art…
