SALMO 6
VUÉLVETE, SEÑOR, PONME A SALVO
Al maestro del coro; para instrumentos de cuerda; en octava. Salmo de David.
Señor, no me reprendas airado,
no me castigues con furia.
Señor, apiádate de mí que estoy débil;
fortaléceme, pues me siento sin fuerzas
y estoy profundamente abatido.
Señor, ¿hasta cuándo?
Mírame, Señor, y ponme a salvo;
que tu amor me libre de la muerte,
pues si uno muere pierde tu recuerdo;
pues ¿quién puede alabarte
en el reino de los muertos?
Estoy cansado de llorar,
cada noche baño en lágrimas mi cama,
con mi llanto inundo mi lecho.
Mis ojos se consumen de dolor,
envejecen de tanta tristeza.
¡Aléjense de mí, malvados,
porque el Señor ha escuchado mi llanto!
El Señor ha escuchado mi ruego,
el Señor ha acogido mi súplica.
Mis enemigos, confusos y aterrados,
huirán, quedarán de repente humillados.
