Psalm XCVII.

aThe Lord reigneth; blet the earth rejoice;

Let the multitude of cisles be glad thereof.

2dClouds and ddarkness are round about him:

eRighteousness and judgment are the ehabitation of his throne.

3fA fire goeth before him,

And burneth up his enemies round about.

4gHis lightnings enlightened the world:

The earth saw, and trembled.

5hThe hills melted ilike wax at the presence of the Lord,

At the presence of kthe Lord of the whole earth.

6lThe heavens declare his righteousness,

And all the people see his glory.

7Confounded be all they that serve mgraven images,

That boast themselves of nidols:

oWorship him, all ye gods.

8Zion heard, and pwas glad,

And pthe daughters of Judah rejoiced,

Because of thy judgments, O Lord.

9For thou, Lord, art qHigh above all the earth:

Thou art exalted far rabove all gods.

10Ye that love the Lord, shate evil:

tHe preserveth the souls of uhis saints;

vHe delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

11wLight is sown for the righteous,

And gladness for xthe upright in heart.

12yRejoice in the Lord, ye righteous;

zAnd give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm XCVIII.

A Psalm.

O asing unto the Lord a new song;

For bhe hath done marvellous things:

cHis right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

2dThe Lord hath made known his salvation:

deHis righteousness hath he fopenly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

3He hath gremembered his hmercy and his htruth toward the house of Israel:

diAll the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4kMake a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth:

lMake a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

5Sing unto the Lord with the mharp;

mWith the harp, and nthe voice of a psalm.

6With otrumpets and sound of pcornet

kqMake a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

7rLet the sea roar, and sthe fulness thereof;

The world, and they that dwell therein.

8Let the floods tclap their hands:

Let uthe hills be joyful together

9Before the Lord; xfor he cometh to judge the earth:

With righteousness shall he judge the world,

And the people ywith equity.

Psalm XCIX.

aThe Lord reigneth; let the people tremble:

bHe sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2The Lord is great in Zion;

And he is chigh above all the people.

3Let them praise thy dgreat and deterrible name;

For fit is holy.

4The gking’s strength also loveth judgment;

Thou dost establish hequity,

Thou executest ijudgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5kExalt ye the Lord our God,

And worship at lhis footstool;

For mhe is holy.

6noMoses and Aaron among his opriests,

And npSamuel among them that call upon his name;

They qcalled upon the Lord, and phe answered them.

7He spake unto them in the rcloudy pillar:

sThey kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8Thou answeredst tthem, O Lord our God:

Thou wast a God that uforgavest them,

wThough thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9kExalt the Lord our God,

And worship at xhis holy hill;

For fmthe Lord our God is holy.
