137You are righteous,z Lord,
and your laws are right.a
138The statutes you have laid down are righteous;b
they are fully trustworthy.c
139My zeal wears me out,d
for my enemies ignore your words.
140Your promisese have been thoroughly tested,f
and your servant loves them.g
141Though I am lowly and despised,h
I do not forget your precepts.i
142Your righteousness is everlasting
and your law is true.j
143Trouble and distress have come upon me,
but your commands give me delight.k
144Your statutes are always righteous;
give me understandingl that I may live.

145I call with all my heart;m answer me, Lord,
and I will obey your decrees.n
146I call out to you; save meo
and I will keep your statutes.
147I rise before dawnp and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.
148My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,q
that I may meditate on your promises.
149Hear my voicer in accordance with your love;s
preserve my life,t Lord, according to your laws.
150Those who devise wicked schemesu are near,
but they are far from your law.
151Yet you are near,v Lord,
and all your commands are true.w
152Long ago I learned from your statutesx
that you established them to last forever.y
