Jude 5–11

⁵Now I desire to ^aremind you, though ^byou know all things once for all, that ¹the Lord, ^cafter saving a people out of the land of Egypt, ²subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.

⁶And ^aangels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has ^bkept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day,

⁷just as ^aSodom and Gomorrah and the ^bcities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and ^cwent after ¹strange flesh, are exhibited as an ^2dexample in undergoing the ^epunishment of eternal fire.

⁸Yet in the same way these men, also by dreaming, ^adefile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile ¹angelic majesties.

⁹But ^aMichael ^bthe archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about ^cthe body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “^dThe Lord rebuke you!”

¹⁰But ^athese men revile the things which they do not understand; and ^bthe things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are ¹destroyed.

¹¹Woe to them! For they have gone ^athe way of Cain, and for pay ¹they have rushed headlong into ^bthe error of Balaam, and ^cperished in the rebellion of Korah.
