Psalm 62

^*To the chief Musician, to ^*Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.

^1||Truly ^amy soul ^†waiteth upon God:

From him cometh my salvation.

^2bHe only is my rock and my salvation;

He is my ^†defence; ^cI shall not be greatly moved.

³How long will ye imagine mischief against a man?

Ye shall be slain all of you:

^dAs a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

⁴They only consult to cast him down from his ^eexcellency:

They delight in lies:

^fThey bless with their mouth, but they curse ^†inwardly. Selah.

^5gMy soul, wait thou only upon God;

For my expectation is from him.

^6hHe only is my rock and my salvation:

He is my defence; ^cI shall not be moved.

⁷ⁱIn God is my salvation and my glory:

The rock of my strength, and my ^krefuge, is in God.

^8lTrust in him at all times; ye people,

^mPour out your heart before him:

God is ^ka refuge for us. Selah.

⁹ⁿSurely ^omen of low degree are ^npvanity, and ^omen of high degree are ^qa lie:

To be laid in the balance, ^rthey are ^||altogether lighter than ^npvanity.

¹⁰Trust not in oppression,

And ^rrbecome not vain in robbery:

^sIf riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

¹¹God hath spoken ^tonce;

^tTwice have I heard this;

That ^u||power belongeth unto God.

¹²Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth ^xmercy:

For ^ythou renderest to every man according to his work.
