Psalm XXVIII.

A Psalm of David.

Unto thee will I cry, O Lord amy rock; bbe not silent to me:

Lest, if thou be silent to me, cI become like cdthem that go down into the pit.

2iiHear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee,

When I ddlift up my hands etoward thy holy foracle.

3Draw me not away with the wicked, and with ffthe workers of iniquity,

gWhich speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4hGive them according to their deeds,

And according to the wickedness of their endeavours:

Give them after the work of their hands;

Render to them hhtheir desert.

5Because ithey regard not the works of the Lord,

Nor the operation of his hands,

He shall destroy them, and not build them up.

6Blessed be the Lord, because he hath iiheard the voice of my supplications.

7The Lord is my strength and my jshield;

My heart ktrusted in him, and I am helped:

Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;

And with my song will I praise him.

8The Lord is their strength,

And he is the saving strength of his anointed.

9Save lthy people,

And bless lthine inheritance:

Feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Psalm XXIX.

A Psalm of David.

Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty,

aGive unto the Lord glory and strength.

2aGive unto the Lord athe glory due unto his name;

Worship the Lord in bthe beauty of holiness.

3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters:

cThe God of glory thundereth:

The Lord is upon dmany waters.

4The voice of the Lord is powerful;

The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

5The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars;

Yea, the Lord breaketh ethe cedars of Lebanon.

6He maketh them also to fskip like a calf;

Lebanon and gSirion like a young hunicorn.

7The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

8The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness;

The Lord shaketh the wilderness of iKadesh.

9The voice of the Lord maketh kthe hinds to calve,

And discovereth the forests:

And in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10The Lord sitteth upon lthe flood;

Yea, mthe Lord sitteth King for ever.

11The Lord will give nstrength unto his people;

The Lord will bless his people with peace.
