Adramyttium (Ἀδραμυττηνός, Adramyttēnos). A seaport in Mysia, a region on the west coast of Asia Minor. On his journey from Caesarea to Rome recorded in Acts, Paul was transported on a ship from Adramyttium (Acts 27:2). The name of the city is preserved in modern-day Edremit, Turkey, which is a short distance inland from the ancient site.
