Al Señor esperé pacientementea,

y Él se inclinó a mí y oyó mi clamorb.

2Me sacó del hoyo de la destruccióna, del lodo cenagoso;

asentó mis pies sobre una roca1b y afirmó mis pasosc.

3Puso en mi boca un cántico nuevoa, un canto de alabanza a nuestro Dios;

muchos verán esto, y temeránb,

y confiarán en el Señor.

Read in Logos
Psalm 40:2–3: He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.
