6Thus saith the Lord;

lFor three transgressions of zaGaza,

lAnd for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;

bBecause they ||carried away captive the whole captivity,

cTo deliver them up dto Edom:

7eBut I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza,

eWhich shall devour the palaces thereof:

8And I will cut off the inhabitant from afAshdod,

And ghim that holdeth the sceptre from ahAshkelon,

And I will iturn mine hand against akEkron:

And blthe remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord God.
