1 John 1

1^*aThat which was from the beginning, which ^bwe have heard, which ^bwe have seen with our eyes, which ^cwe have looked upon, and ^dour hands have handled, of the Word ^eof life; ²(For ^ethe life ^fwas manifested, and ^bwe have seen it, and ^gbear witness, and shew unto you ^hthat eternal life, ⁱwhich was with the Father, and ^fwas manifested unto us;) ³That which ^bwe have seen and ^bheard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly ^kour fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. ⁴And these things write we unto you, ^lthat your joy may be full. ^5mThis then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that ⁿGod is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ^6oIf we say that we have fellowship with him, and ^pwalk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: ⁷But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and ^qthe blood of ^rJesus Christ his Son ^scleanseth us from all sin. ^8tIf we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and ^uthe truth is not in us. ^9vIf we confess our sins, he is ^xfaithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to ^scleanse us from all unrighteousness. ^10yIf we say that we have not sinned, ^zwe make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
