2 Timothy 3:14–4:5

¹⁴But ^rcontinue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; ¹⁵and that ^sfrom a child ^tthou hast known ^uthe holy ^vscriptures, ^wwhich are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. ^16xAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and ^yis profitable for ^ydoctrine, for ^zreproof, for ^acorrection, for instruction in righteousness: ¹⁷that ^bthe man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished ^cunto all ^dgood works.

IV.^aI charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, ^bwho shall judge the quick and the dead at ^chis appearing and his kingdom; ²preach the word; be instant ^din season, ^eout of season; ^freprove, ^grebuke, ^hexhort with all ⁱlongsuffering and doctrine. ³For ^jthe time will come when they will not ^kendure ^lsound doctrine; but ^mafter their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; ⁴and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and ⁿshall be turned unto ^ofables. ⁵But ^pwatch thou in all things, ^qendure afflictions, do the work of ^ran evangelist, ^smake full proof of thy ministry.
