Psalm 64:title–10

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

¹Hear my voice, O God, in my ^aprayer:

Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

²Hide me from ^bthe secret counsel of the wicked;

From ^bthe insurrection of ^bbthe workers of iniquity:

^3cWho whet their tongue like a sword,

And ^dbend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

^4eThat they may shoot ^fin secret at the perfect:

Suddenly do they shoot at him, and ^fffear not.

^5gThey encourage themselves in an evil ^||matter:

They commune ^†of laying snares privily;

^hThey say, Who shall see them?

⁶They search out iniquities;

^||They accomplish ^†a diligent search:

Both ⁱthe inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

⁷But God ^dshall shoot at them with an arrow;

Suddenly ^†shall they be wounded.

⁸So they shall make ^ktheir own tongue to fall upon themselves:

^lAll that ^msee them shall ^mmflee away.

⁹And all men shall ^mfear,

And shall ⁿdeclare the work of God;

For they shall ^owisely consider of his doing.

^10pThe righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and ^qshall trust in him;

^pAnd all ^rthe upright in heart shall glory.
