do not leave me to my oppressors.

122Guarantee Your servant’s well-being; l

do not let the arrogant oppress me.

123My eyes grow weary mlooking for Your salvation

and for Your righteous promise.

124Deal with Your servant based on Your faithful love; n

teach me Your statutes.

125I am Your servant; ogive me understanding p

so that I may know Your decrees.

126It is time for the Lord to act, q

for they have violated Your instruction.

127Since I love Your commands r

more than gold, even the purest gold,

128I carefully follow sall Your precepts t

and hate every false way. u

פ Pe

therefore I obey them. w

and gives understanding to the inexperienced. y

because I long for Your commands.

132Turn to me and be gracious to me, a

as is Your practice toward those who love Your name.

133Make my steps steady through Your promise; b

don’t let any sin dominate me. c

134Redeem me from human oppression, d

and I will keep Your precepts.

135Show favor to Your servant, e

and teach me Your statutes. f

136My eyes pour out streams of tears g

because people do not follow Your instruction.

צ Tsade

137You are righteous, Lord, h

and Your judgments are just.

138The decrees You issue are righteous

and altogether trustworthy. i

139My anger overwhelms me

because my foes forget Your words. j

140Your word is completely pure, k

and Your servant loves it. l

141I am insignificant and despised, m

but I do not forget Your precepts. n

142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,

and Your instruction is true. o

143Trouble and distress have overtaken me,

but Your commands are my delight. p
