NUEVO ORÁCULO DE SALVACIÓN
No temas, gusanito de Jacob;
no te angusties, cosita de Israel;
te voy a auxiliar —oráculo del Señor—.
Tu redentor es el Santo de Israel.
Voy a convertirte en trillo cortante,
en trillo nuevo, lleno de dientes.
Trillarás, triturarás montañas,
reducirás a paja las colinas;
los aventarás, el viento los dispersará,
el torbellino los arrebatará consigo.
Pero tú te alegrarás en el Señor,
te gloriarás del Santo de Israel.
EL DESIERTO TRANSFORMADO
En vano los pobres buscan agua,
la sed reseca su lengua.
Yo, el Señor, les respondo;
como Dios de Israel, no los abandono.
Abriré canales en cumbres peladas,
fuentes en medio de los valles;
transformaré la estepa en estanque,
la tierra desierta en manantiales.
Llenaré la estepa de cedros,
de acacias, mirtos y olivos;
plantaré en el desierto cipreses,
y a la vez olmos y abetos.
Para que así vean y entiendan,
y a la vez se fijen y aprendan
que lo ha hecho la mano del Señor,
lo ha creado el Santo de Israel.
