Psalm XIV.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

aThe bfool hath said in his heart, cThere is no God.

dThey are corrupt, they have done abominable works,

eThere is none that doeth good.

2  The Lord flooked down from heaven upon the children of men,

To see if there were eany gthat did understand, and hseek God.

3  eThey are all gone aside, they are all together become * filthy:

There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4  Have all the workers of iniquity ino knowledge?

Who keat up my people as they eat bread,

And lcall not upon the Lord.

5  mThere * were they in great fear:

nFor God is in the generation of the righteous.

6  nYou have shamed the counsel of the poor,

Because the Lord is his orefuge.

7  * O that the salvation of Israel were come pout of Zion!

When the Lord qbringeth back the captivity of his people,

Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
