Psalm CXXX.

* A Song of degrees.

aOut of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

2  Lord, hear my voice:

bLet thine ears be attentive to bbthe voice of my supplications.

3  If thou, cLord, shouldest dmark iniquities,

O Lord, ewho shall fstand?

4  But there is gforgiveness with thee,

hThat thou mayest be feared.

5  iI wait for the Lord, kmy soul doth wait,

And lin his word do I hope.

6  My soul waiteth for the Lord

More than they mthat watch for nthe morning:

* I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7  oLet Israel hope in the Lord:

For pwith the Lord there is mercy,

And with him is plenteous redemption.

8  And qhe shall redeem Israel

From all his iniquities.
