Proverbs: Annotated & Explained is unavailable, but you can change that!

The biblical Book of Proverbs was compiled in the seventh century BCE and credited to King Solomon. In this fresh translation, Rami Shapiro unpacks the book, writing that its wisdom transcends time and place and instructs readers to live simply, without rationalizations and excuses.

3:21–26 Keep your attention on wisdom, and do not allow yourself to be distracted. Watch the patterns of creation. This will enliven your soul and bring you grace and tranquility.28 Seeing truth you can walk forward in confidence without stumbling because of ignorance. When you sleep you will not be afraid; your sleep will come easily. When you wake you will not be anxious29 nor worry about your fate, for you rest safely in the divine and your feet do not stray from the path.30
