This is one of the greater works, He will show and communicate to His Son, viz., the power of raising up the dead and restoring them to life. “As the Father raiseth,” etc. The present tense, “raiseth,” denotes perpetuity. “So, the Son giveth life,” etc. This indicates equality of Divine power.
