As each human life is built as a complex work of art, with certain threads of life more important than others in defining who a person is, so theology combines major motifs with minor motifs in the revelation of God’s big picture of himself and his relation to the world. The aim of this chapter is to lay out some of the more important stepping-stones in the journey that
