accomplished by examining these four phrases in the verse: “I have been crucified with Christ”; “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”; “And the life I now live in the flesh”; “I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” For each phrase, at least one aspect of the verse essential to a biblically-grounded Christian spirituality will be drawn out. Then, in light of that aspect of the spiritual life, some of the current trends within Christian spirituality
