1381 Perry Miller finds Edwards’ determinism essentially the same as that of Augustine, Luther, Leibniz and Turretin, and “almost all the Calvinistic writers of Geneva and Holland, during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries,” and in Hobbes and Anthony Collins as well.1382 The late B.
