Psalms 103:5 says, “He satisfies my desires with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Why like the eagle’s? For us, the eagle is an especially powerful, handsome bird, an emblem of strength and beauty. However, the eagle had an additional meaning for the ancient Hebrews.
