the great commission presents the apostles sitting at meat when Jesus appeared to them. If this is the same occasion which Luke 24:26–43 describes, then there is no difficulty in the rebuke which Jesus gave to the apostles for their unbelief and hardness of heart in failing to accept the first testimony of His resurrection.
