The disciples were never to forget they stood between an all-sufficient Savior and a very needy world. What they obtained, they were to dispense to others. They were to be God’s servants through whom sustenance would reach dying people. This has, and must ever be, the standard by which to assess the value of the Christian ministry. Christ depends upon His followers.
