Regardless of your heritage or how dark, dirty, and desperate your past was, Jesus Christ is the redeemer who can make you right with God and cleanse all sin. When Jesus comes into your life and he cleanses you from sin, God declares you eternally justified in his eyes. He declares you are his child. God cleanses you from all sin—sin from your past as well as those you have yet to commit. He does not leave you in your sin. He changes your status, and as a result, you can now live rightly for him.
