preaching expository sermons with alliterated outlines. Using alliterated outlines in preaching is a method of preaching that is quite popular in our time. This method is not the only method of preaching, of course. If it is not your method, do not feel discouraged and deficient. And if you do alliterate, do not criticize preachers who do not alliterate. Some of my favorite preachers never alliterated or even outlined their sermons, but they could preach and expound the Word of God with excellence.
