Doctrinal study may begin with the study of one Bible book. This method involves the following steps: A. Read the theological introduction to the book. List in your notebook the major doctrines you can expect to find in the book. Choose one doctrine for thorough study. B. Read the Bible book through from chapter one onwards. As you finish the chapter, read the Doctrinal Notes, if any, on the doctrine you have chosen to study. C. Note the major sub-topics of the doctrine noted in the Doctrinal Notes.
