Simply put, worship is our response to the presence of God made possible by Jesus. However, it is not some general notion of God that captivates us, but most often a specific quality, or attribute. “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world” (Romans 1:20). God’s attributes are clear. As we grow as worshipers, we notice those attributes and praise God for them.
