First, we see that worship is God-centred. As John is given a glimpse of the worship service in heaven he says, ‘And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne’ (Rev. 4:2). At the very outset, we notice that God is in the centre. Our focus and attention is immediately drawn to him.
