is the liberty which makes man free as a spiritual being. This liberty must come from the other side, from God’s, through man’s being addressed by the Word of God. That is the transcendence. But this transcendence is restricted to that which makes a man really into man in the sense of existentialist philosophy. God is God only insofar as He is necessary to the realization of this man. God exists sub specie hominis. That is the God of existentialism. That is the humanization of the Kingdom of God
