What I was after wasn’t in a book or a course on the subject. The challenge was much deeper than a table of contents. Furthermore, I was not about to give my preaching over to all the haranguing for “relevance” and instant application because I completely disagree with that perspective. I did not need better power-point or enhanced graphics. I was not looking to dumb down my preaching as much as I was seeking to elevate God in the minds of people through it. When seeking to improve our preaching,
