15, 16 βλέπετε οὖν ἀκριβῶς πῶς περιπατεῖτε, μὴ ὡς ἄσοφοι ἀλλʼ ὡς σοφοί, “Pay careful attention then to how you live, not as unwise people but as wise.” The οὖν, “therefore,” links the new instruction in a general way with the previous overall exhortation to walk as children of light and to expose the works of darkness. This can only be obeyed if believers take care that their conduct is characterized by wisdom. The new exhortation is not simply “walk/live as wise people,”
