LESSON 5 DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS (CONTINUED) There is another demonstrative pronoun, the meaning of which is similar to that of οὑ̂τος (Lesson 4). It is ὅδε, ἥδε, τόδε “this” (this one here). It consists simply of the article ὁ, ἡ, τό with -δε added. The following demonstrative pronouns should also be noted, all declined like οὑ̂τος:— (a) of quality: τοιου̂τος, τοιαύτη, τοιου̂το, “such.” (b) of quantity: τοσου̂τος, τοσαύτη, τοσου̂το, “so great.” (c) of number: τοσου̂τοι etc., “so many.”
