It is out of God’s grace that we have redemption, forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7), salvation (Ephesians 2:8), abilities to minister (1 Corinthians 1:4–7; 3:10), the sacrifice of Jesus (2 Corinthians 8:9), strength to live through difficulties (2 Corinthians 9:8), and a host of other benefits. A summary of grace is this—God’s goodness offered to us. The result of grace is peace, which is the condition of well-being resulting from a harmonious relationship. It is that condition
