Everything in Christ Let us think about God in Christ for a few moments. “Sanctify the LORD Himself.” Sanctify Christ. Christ is the man-ward side of God. Christ is the side of God that looks toward the human race, and Jesus Christ is the way to God because He is Himself God. He is to our souls what our souls are to our bodies. Far too often in our age, Jesus is confined to religion. Sometimes I feel like saying, “They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him” (John 20:13).
