Strong’s #2461; #1706: This phrase is frequently used in the Old Testament to describe the land of Canaan—a land flowing with milk and honey (Ex. 3:8; Lev. 20:24; Num. 14:8; Deut. 6:3). The phrase depicts both the fertility of the land and its bounty (Num. 13:23–27). The land could support plenty of cows to supply an abundance of milk, and a variety of plants for bees to frequent. The expression also represents the
