I don’t really think the NT says that the sacraments have to be administered by ordained clergypersons. In fact, I don’t think the NT talks about ordained clergypersons as distinguished from everybody else. What it talks about is the priesthood of all believers and what people are called and gifted to do. So, I do think that the persons who should distribute the Lord’s Supper should be someone who is trained in the theology of Lord’s Supper and in the practice of serving the Lord’s Supper, whether
