A more extended statement of Thomas’ doctrine to the effect that we cannot make univocal statements about God, will be found in my brochure Thomas and the Bible. Suffice it to say for the present that we hold Thomas’ denial of the possibility of univocal statements about God to be wholly arbitrary and contrary to fact.
