God took care of his Son. Joseph was told to flee to Egypt, where he remained a year at least, till Herod was dead. Perhaps Herod died thinking that he had put the new King out of his way. Once before God’s servant (son) Israel had dwelt in Egypt (Hosea 2:1). Now, again, the other Son of God in the full sense of the term is in exile.
