The gold represents faith, pure and true. The white clothes represent the white robe of Christ’s righteousness which is received by faith. The eve salve is the Holy Spirit which gives us spiritual discernment. The lukewarm believe that they are dressed in the white robe of Christ’s righteousness when they are actually naked.
