We have assumed that God has left our troubles on the liability side of the ledger. The truth is that for the Christian he has transferred them and placed them on the side of the assets. That is what our text means. “All things work together for good to them that love God.” Out of the darkness of night, not the light of day, the solar system was discovered. Out of the Jewish exile, not the peaceful years of Solomon, came the death of idolatry to the nation, and the erection of the synagogue for worship
