The first sign of an infant faith is shallowness, and the second is that such Christians are of little use to others in the things of the faith. “By this time you ought to be teachers,” writes the author of Hebrews. In chapter 3 he spoke of the great need for spiritual exhortation, lest some be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
