During my DMIN program, the graduate school changed directors. The former director utilized a descriptive methodology, while the new director implemented a quasi-experimental approach. My cohort group arrived at the research methodologies class ready to write our proposals according to one tactic and found our ideas being deconstructed one by one. The experience introduced me to the feud that often occurs between methodological schools of thought. I quickly learned about flexibility.
