Ø Do not resent or be weary of (v.11b). This word means to be grieved or disgusted, to abhor or loathe. It describes a deep, negative emotional reaction. How is it possible to willingly submit to God’s discipline, and further, to have a positive attitude toward it? This, too, is a matter of trusting the LORD with all your heart and knowing Him intimately (vv.5–6).
