Jeremiah, Lamentations is unavailable, but you can change that!

In the last days of Judah, God sent Jeremiah to announce the coming judgment, call people to repentance, and comfort the believers who lived in a nation that had forsaken the Lord. His testimony contains many glorious prophecies of the coming Messiah. The book of Lamentations encourages believers to cling to the Lord even during disasters.

Jeremiah reveals more of his inner turmoil and personal feelings than any of the other prophets. From the heights of joy to the depths of despair, Jeremiah was open and honest in his emotions. The special burden he carried was his loneliness. For the Lord had forbidden him to marry or to enjoy the normal social relationships that others could enjoy (16:1–9).
