Thus, judgment is concerned with the eradication of evil and the establishment of righteousness and peace within creation. The salvation of humanity is tied to this renewal of creation, in keeping with Jewish expectation. Thus it is no surprise that redeemed believers are described as new creations since, for Paul, the new creation begins with redeemed humanity.
