Even as this very paragraph is being written, changes are occurring all around me. Changes are, of course, generally very frightening to most people, and death is, indeed, a major change in a person’s life. We generally tend to see change as taking us from a place of comfort and familiarity to a place of uncertainty, and this is uncomfortable for most people. I still remember some of my own fears of changes in my life. As a young man, I had accepted a new job opportunity, which was going to mean
