there’s twenty-eight miles between the Mediterranean and the Sea of Galilee. Israel widens a bit as we go further to the south, so the Dead Sea, which is further to the south, is still only fifty miles from the Mediterranean to the Dead Sea. So Israel is about 6,000 square miles. Now, we compare that, for example, to New Jersey, which has 8,700 square miles, or Connecticut, with 5,500 square miles. Israel is right between those two. And, thinking about the rivers, the Mississippi River, at its widest,
